This infill subdivision is located on a prominent sand dune at Waikanae Beach, opposite the Waikanae Golf Course. The subdivision design required a high degree of flood hazard mitigation while respecting the topography and coastal landform. Landlink designed the subdivision development and oversaw the earthworks as well as infrastructure construction. Close liaison with iwi and the Historic Places Trust was important as a number of middens were identified during site works.
