This subdivision is located in and around one of the most significant bush areas in the lower North Island. Landlink focussed heavily on not only preserving the existing bush but also enhancing the environment. Consultation with the Department of Conservation, QE II National Trust and Nga Manu were ongoing responsibilities for Landlink. The resource consent was notified involving Council Hearings and Environment Court mediated appeals. Landlink completed the necessary planning input to the process and coordinated infrastructure construction and cadastral surveying. The resulting lifestyle blocks provide an extremely high amenity for residents wishing to enjoy the ‘dawn chorus’.
