The Company


Landlink is a leading multi-disciplinary planning and surveying company based in the fast growing Kapiti Coast.  From Waikanae, Landlink provides services throughout the Lower North Island.  For over fifteen years Landlink has worked successfully with private developers, landowners and the public sector undertaking a wide variety of projects, helping to create places where people live, work and thrive.  Landlink's staff welcomes the chance to apply both knowledge and skill to a wide range of projects.

Paul Turner  BSurv, PGDipBus, MNZIS, MCSNZ
Managing Principal (Registered Professional Surveyor)

Paul is the motivating force behind Landlink.  With work experience from around New Zealand and overseas, including the UK and Middle East, Paul has a good understanding of the key ingredients needed for managing successful projects.  Paul is dedicated to achieving the best results for Landlink’s clients and his client-focussed attitude keeps the lines of communication open and honest at all times.  Paul can apply his extensive development experience and knowledge to each and every project providing clear guidance when it is most needed.  Paul has strong presence in the local community being Chairman of the local business group - Waikanae 2020.

Alan Milne  MNZIS
Consultant for Climate Change and Sustainable Development (Registered Surveyor)

Alan's experience draws on a wide variety of land development projects.  This gives a wealth of perspectives from conceptual design to implementation  and construction.  Alan helps our clients understand the process and stages required to complete their projects.  Alongside this practical expertise are the broader understanding and advocacy that Alan has on matters of climate change and sustainable development.  Having previously been a company director and Mayor of the Kapiti Coast District Alan is well placed to provide project leadership that is robust and innovative.

Dave Pearson  NZCLS, ANZIS
Survey Technician

With years of practical, hands on survey experience Dave is very adept at completing survey jobs on time, within budget and to the highest level of accuracy. He provides survey support on almost all projects from large topographical jobs to complex urban and rural developments. He is also experienced with tenancy measurements, and all areas of engineering and building setout. His practical experience and strong work ethic make Dave a trusted contributor and dependable staff member.

Peter Aitken
Project Surveyor

 

Peter provides sound project management skills to see all projects through from plans to reality.  The bulk of his previous experience is in setting out major roading and construction projects.  His skills deliver the accuracy needed to assist contractors when they are constructing new infrastructure for any development.

 

Libby Bayly  BRP(Hons), GNZPI
Planner

Libby completed a Bachelor of Resource and Environmental Planning at Massey University.  Working with Councils to ensure that the necessary resource consents are obtained, Libby fulfils a critical role in all projects from the pre-planning stages to the successful completion of each project.  She is a great communicator with an ability to manage teams and work with others to achieve common goals.  Her analytical approach to resource management provides sound advice to aid decision-making processes.

Libby is Landlink’s Urban Design Champion.

Esther Burns
Office Manager

Esther is at the core of Landlink's day to day business.  She provides the support that the rest of the team needs to meet deadlines and produce high quality outputs for clients.  Working closely with Paul she is responsible for the administration of contracts, human resources and financial budgets.  Her attention to detail ensures that overall office quality control is second to none.

Derek Hewitt
Survey Assistant

Derek is responsible for carrying the equipment, holding the poles, managing traffic, finding survey marks and sometimes fighting a path through the bush.  His commitment to timeliness coupled with a good understanding of how to get the job done can save hours in the field.
